Dryad’s are creatures directly connected with the animals we have on Earth. They came shortly after their counterparts, Nymphs. Dryad’s have connections to quite a vast majority of all animals, however this is limited to the mammals of the world. Nonetheless, their features tend to vary in multitudes. Sometimes they can be unique and very apparent animals, while others can show multiple features of different ones.

Nymphs and Dryads get along quite well together and do not discriminate. However, other species tend to look down upon Dryads more so than Nymphs. They are seen as ‘less than’ however, they do not accept less than. Dryads can be seen doing anything to prove their worth..

Classes of Dryads
The dryads have been separated into two different classes of worldly creatures

1. Dryads of Earth.
​
These Dryads are mixtures of creatures that live on our planet Earth. They're called dryades (δρυάδες). Their features typically share similar traits to that of the animals their correspond to, and never branch out past the natural order. Dryads of Earth are separated into two categories; unique and ordinary.
Unique:
Unique dryads are quite literally their names. They are a mixture of random animals located on Earth into one. This always creates unqiueness to each individual, like their very own snowflake. However, this does not mean they can change into each individual animal. It's more of a blend. Their abilities pull from animals that are shown in their features.
Ordinary:
Ordinary dryads are also quite literally their names. These dryads are considered more pureblooded, so they only contain one animal in their features. This gives them a better social status, as it's much rarer for this to be the case. However, it is also a limitation as in their abilities are restricted to that one animal.

2. Dryads of Other Celestial Worlds. **RESTRICTED**
​
These Dryads are very similar to the idea of Earthly ones, however they are different in various but important ways. They're called holeoroi (ὑληωροί). Not much is known how they found their way onto Earth, however it seems as though they can't leave. Being on Earth also seems to give quite a few limitations to this species as well.
​
The animals that Holeoroi have features of don't tend to be animals from this world. Their features can include those of griffons, dragons, unicorns, and other worldly creatures. However, since they live on Earth, they do not have the ability to fully transform. They simply can show natural forms (mixture of human/animal) or glamoured forms (human only).
