HUMANS

OVERVIEW

Humans are one of Amaya's creations. They're sentient beings who were created for their faults to be shown. Humans were made to progress themselves, for better or for worse. However, Amaya removed access to magical elements for the large majority due to these faults, as she did not want them to spiral out of control. Only certain bloodlines, typically those who were created first, were taught passages to the world of Magi.

As a result of this dynamic between humans and magic, over centuries after the deities left, the vast majority forgot the world of Magi. Supernaturals alike deemed this necessary, as humans would retaliate to them with hatred and confusion. In conclusion, much of history is forgone to the Human race. This new world is quite a shock to them and they're doing their best to make their way through the world.

..  Biology & Anatomy for all types of Humans

All types of humans have the same biology, meaning they are still rather fragile creatures that are susceptible to pain, viruses, and more. Hunters are only different in the aspect of being able to control their own adrenaline. However, everything else still remains the same, including anatomy. They remain the most fragile creatures of all those in the world.

SUBSPECIES

Witches & Warlocks

Witches and Warlocks are inevitably no more than humans. However, this didn’t stop them from their desire of harnessing power. Through centuries of studying and learning, this specific group of humans learned the Earth they live upon already has its own form of magical potency. They theorized by grasping control of this Earthly magic, they’d be able to use it as well. As this might be true, it was soon realized that in order for humans to borrow from the Earth, they must give equal value in return. Some Witches/Warlocks call it the curse of being human.

Thralls

           While they are still humans, Thralls are humans who have lost their soul or been bound to a demon or vampire in some way or another with some power. They are still human but they are in a way transitioning into something else completely, whether that be a small-time demon or a fledgling low blood vampire. In most cases they hardly ever really cross the line into becoming a vampire or low ranked demon but it is possible. Otherwise, Thralls are primarily just used as housework servants. They do the cooking, cleaning, etc. They are hardly ever used as bodyguards, if ever. 

Hunters

    Due to the ongoing threat of other Supernatural Creatures the witches empowered certain humans with the capability of hunting down said creatures. This bloodline is passed down from generation to generation and the only way to tell if they are a Hunter is by a certain tribal tattoo located somewhere on their body. Not much is really known exactly how witches were able to empower these humans, but it is speculated that magic was infused with human blood, which ultimately attached itself to the genetics of the one who was infused. This ultimately led to it being passed down generation by generation.
