Lamia's came from the earth, the stone and the tunnels they carved within it. The cold blooded creatures that they are, they normally find that being out during the day and inside during the night, cuddling with others of their kind is the most comfortable- or at least it was in the days before electricity.
While generally thought of as an all female race, this is not always the case. Male Lamia's are usually a little elusive as the Lamia’s are matriarchal in nature with the women normally leading the charge in battle and the more physical traits while the men stay back and raise the children- thought of better at home protectors.

Classes of Lamia's

The Lamia's have been separated into two different classes of worldly creatures. However, both classes have the ability of being poisonous snakes. This is typically shown through the color yellow.

1. Humanistic Lamia's

These Lamia's are the largely more humanistic version of the Lamia classes. Their bodies are human, with scaley patches here and there along their skin. However the consistent thing is that their heads are made out of semi-sentient snakes that are under the control of the Lamia themselves.

2. Snake-body Lamia.

These Lamia's are much more snake oriented in their bodies. Their entire lower body is that of a snake. They may also have scale patches along their human portion.

Life Span: 1100 years
